Along with these powerful aims regarding the purpose of this book, I must hasten on to say that Faith of Our Fathers is also a tribute to the late Dr. Sterling L. Jones, Senior Pastor of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan for over 48 yrs. Dr. Jones was an extraordinary preacher of the gospel who also had a deep passion for Evangelism, Christian Education, and Equipping the saints for the work of the ministry.
