Jethro Tulls 14. studiealbum, "The Broadsword and the Beast" (1982), som 40 års deluxe jubilæumsudgivelse kaldet "Monster Edition".

Den omfattende "Monster Edition" indeholder et nyt stereomix af Steven Wilson. Såkaldte "Associated Recordings" er også blevet nyligt mixet af Steven Wilson. Den tredje CD indeholder demoer, master mixes og rough cuts, mens CD 4 og 5 præsenterer en fængslende liveoptræden fra Tyskland i 1982.

De tre DVD'er, der er inkluderet i denne "Monster Edition" er DVD Audio Only og består af 5.1- og hi-res stereo-mix af albummet og "associated recordings". Derudover giver den tredje DVD en hi-res stereo- og 4.1 surround sound-oplevelse af "Live in Germany 1982"-koncerten.

Som supplement til lydindholdet medfølger en 164-siders bog fyldt med eksklusivt indhold: interviews med bandmedlemmer, sang-for-sang gennemgang af Ian Anderson, interviews med cover-illustrator Iain McCaig og lydtekniker Leigh Mantle. Bogen indeholder også en genskabelse af turnéprogrammet og turnéplanen fra 1982 sammen med sjældne fotos og memorabilia.
