Justin Timberlake

Limited Indie Exclusive Rose Colour Vinyl edition

"Justified," the debut solo album by Justin Timberlake, released in 2002, marks a significant departure from his boy band roots in *NSYNC, showcasing a maturity in sound and a new direction in the pop and R&B genres. Timberlake collaborated with innovative producers like The Neptunes (Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo) and Timbaland, which helped create a distinct and fresh sound that resonated widely. This blend of sultry R&B beats with pop sensibilities resulted in a groundbreaking album that features hits like "Cry Me a River" and "Rock Your Body."

The album not only captures Timberlake's smooth transition from a teen idol to a serious musician but also reflects his personal growth, with lyrical themes exploring love, heartbreak, and self-discovery. "Justified" sold over 7 million copies worldwide, firmly establishing Timberlake as a solo superstar and earning him several Grammy Awards, including Best Pop Vocal Album. Its innovative sound, blending traditional R&B with futuristic beats, and its critical and commercial success make it a standout debut of the 00s. Whether you're drawn to its emotional depth or infectious grooves, "Justified" is a quintessential snapshot of early 2000s pop culture and a cornerstone in Justin Timberlake’s illustrious career.
