Praying the Lectionary, Cycle C

Prayer is the most intimate conversation that we can have with our Heavenly Father. God is always there for us, and so it is only right that we give thanks to Him through worship and prayer. It can be difficult to prepare a prayer which clearly communicates what you and your congregation are thankful for - what they might need in their lives at that moment. But Praying the Lectionary has done all the hard work of composing a prayer for each Sunday of the church year.

This book offers prayers specific to what congregations are going through during different moments of the church year, such as awaiting the coming of Jesus at Christmas, or mourning His death and anticipating His resurrection on Easter.
