Kortez was released from jail after serving three years for gun trafficking and drug distribution. He hoped things had changed with the wife Cathy, as he tried to readjust to life on the outside, rekindle things with her, and make up for the time he lost. But, things didn't go as Kortez hoped. Cathy made it hard with her dramatic mood swings every single day, with the arguing that he didn't want to hear. The drama soon pushed him in another direction. One day, he met a beautiful lady named Tatiana, and his interest for her began to grow immediately. After just two months of talking to Tatiana every single day, he wanted to make her his. Tatiana was single, and she was ready for a man to treat her like the queen she knew she was. Tatiana knew Kortez was the one. Suddenly, after Tatiana's feelings developed for Kortez, she noticed some things that seemed out of place about him. She was unclear about where he was going every evening and why he stayed gone throughout the night when he left her house. She couldn't wrap her mind around why he would leave her house to go home to be in a house by himself. She didn't want to ask him anything too personal because their friendship was so fresh. At the same time, Tatiana was the type of woman who wanted to know and didn't like being left in the dark about important information. When she asked him, the last thing she expected him to say was that he was married and sometimes spent the night with his wife. She wanted to pull back after he told her. But he begged her not to; he didn't want to lose her.
