The Mark of Cain

For nearly six thousand years Cain has struggled through life to atone for his great sin-murdering his brother Abel. Yahweh cursed Cain to wander the earth and never know love but for a short time. Cain now solves "cold cases" (unsolved crimes) and works alongside Eli Jubal-a woman who captures his heart. When he's with Eli his soul is at peace. But what will happen when he speaks of his love for her? How much time will he have with her before his curse snatches her away? Cain has one unique feature that when revealed makes people either fear him or retreat from him-and that's the mark on his forehead. But Eli's reaction when looking upon the mark is the opposite. Is Cain finally to be allotted the love he so yearns to share with another? Or will Yahweh step in once again to remind Cain that he is a cursed one?
