Trapped Knowledge

An electrifying novel about a young black male named Benny Williams, a child of the ghetto who struggles to find himself in an environment where drug lords and street legends define the model of success. He navigates his way through the south side of Chicago, Illinois known as the Wild Hundreds; believing that getting money in the streets is the ultimate goal. He's mentally blinded, but conscious to certain aspects of the genocide going on in his community. Yet, he internally battles to relinquish the negativity of what he has been fed to believe; allowing his surroundings to mold his reality.
