The Creatures of Imperfection

This book is an art book, and it is also a coloring book. It follows Camie's process of drawing inked creatures during October of 2020. This book has little nuggets of commentary about art, perfection and process. It also contains the 31 creatures Camie drew. Each drawing is in black and white, just waiting for color. The pages can be colored directly, or they can be duplicated with any copy machine on a regular 8.5x11" piece of paper. The images contain grey, which will give the finished coloring some depth and shading. It's more than a coloring book - it is a commentary on art, process, and what makes us feel imperfect.

Camie Rigirozzi is an artist in Broomfield, CO. She likes making children's books, art books and plans to make how-to-draw books. When she was a child, she loved to draw and spent most of her time doing so. That love continues in adulthood. Camie has no formal art training. She believes everyone can make art and can improve with many hours of practice. She plays with drawing, painting, collage, and yarn art.
