Bizet Georges
Georges Bizet's famous opera has been exhilaratingly produced with the concept that CARMEN is 'the first ever musical.' Director David McVicar has restored the story to the original 'opera comique' as written, taking it away from the direction of grand opera that it is most commonly associated with. Among the notables involved with this production are: Anne Sophie von Otter, Marcus Haddock, Lisa Milne, and Philippe Jordan conducting the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
