Grand Palladium
This first Grand Palladium album is simply full of love: rich, positive, light and deep at the same time, determined, poetic, sometimes disillusioned, and above all deeply optimistic and generous. An album made with heart and passion, and you can hear it from the first to the last second. Recorded by Benoît Fournier Matmatah and mixed by Julien Carton and Tristan Nihouarn, the album was then mastered at Abbey Road Studios in London by Frank Arkwright.
Except for the drums, made by Benoît Fournier, all the instruments were played by Vincent Dauvergne and Kevin Moal: Guitars, basses, pianos, violins, harmonicas, Dobro, percussions, and of course their two voices, always so elegantly mixed. The duo is also at the origin of the visual concepts and directs all the clips of the band,
pushing DIY to its maximum, always with talent and determination, and clearly against the current trends and the vulgarity of so-called urban music. We are still waiting for the reopening of the gold mine and its new pioneers, those who do not lie and feel ready to dress in burlap and hats with holes for a nugget. We know, intuitively, that they will come in guitars and melodies. You don't have to go out of any school to guess that the Brest of Grand Palladium have unlocked the mine latch. They even melted a white gold rush set with a first diamond, a hypnotic beach, a blue beach under a black sky. After the gold rush, the rush just started again. She left from the West. A little further west.
