Publisher Marketing: The idea for this book came to me one day while I was writing a short story. The characters I wrote about in the short story were so profound I felt they needed more room to breathe. So I expanded the short story into a book. I wasn't sure I could stretch them that far, but I did. The characters in my book have personal connections to me and the people around me. There are always a little bit of myself I put into my books. The trick is figuring out which part is me (smile). Autumn is a character I see in a lot of women. They fear being alone and feel like the only thing that can get them through life is the love of a man, at any cost. I wanted to show that love doesn't have to hurt. And that it's always there, within you. But until you can love yourself, first, you'll be blinded by the glitter and never know what the true feeling of love is. Autumn has to grow into herself before she can truly be happy. Some people are never able to get to that page in their life. And that is the sad part. Sometimes we miss out on what's good for us, because we are afraid of the pain of rejection. If we love ourselves enough then we won't have to fear other's rejection. Our self-love will sustain us through life. And that's the key to Fall Comings. Love. It comes in all shapes and forms. Not all are good. And that's the test. Figuring out what's real. Sometimes that's the ultimate test. Can Autumn find what she is looking for? Or has it been in front of her the whole time?
