Three Clicks Away Guillermo Serrano 1. udgave

As a technology trainer for one of Canada?s largest telecom companies, I have seen first-hand the dangers children face when they navigate the Internet. They can easily be subjected to cyber bullying and online predators. Three Clicks Away is the story of a little boy who created an avatar who becomes his friend. He needs someone on his side when he goes online because in another part of the world, someone else created another avatar. This one is not there to protect children. The two avatars meet each other in the cyber world. Just three clicks will separate the boy from unexpected and difficult situations that eventually will get out of control. Three Clicks away was written with the aim of helping parents and schools teach children how they can prevent becoming victims of the estimated three-quarter of a million cyber predators there are estimated to be out hunting online. This book, which entertains and informs and educates, provides young readers and adults with the tools they need to protect themselves against a growing problem.
