India: Under Seige, the Enemy Within, a Concise History

Publisher Marketing: India, under siege Book Description India arose by break-up of the primal continent of Pangaea and drifted north for 71 million years until it collided with Asia to create the Himalayas and South Asia. Since then cultures have come and gone, the last emerging about 12,000 years ago at the end of the Ice Age. It developed into many kingdoms, and prospered. It was frequently raided by Asian nomads but few gained ground until Islamic militias gained a foothold in the 8th century. After many small conquests the bloodthirsty Mughals triumphed and once settled, allowed European traders to establish trading posts. After many skirmishes and wars over two centuries, the Mughals collapsed, the British emerged dominant, defeated an independence revolt by Indians, colonised India for ninety years, looted its wealth and transferred it to Britain. To subdue Hindus the British besmirched Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism, by falsifying the lineage of Indian peoples, "proving" them and their religions, their scientific and mathematical discoveries to be derived from aliens of a fabled Asian race, the "Aryans," whose existence was based entirely on errors in translating the Vaidas. They are said to have conquered native "dravidians," another invention. The British taught the resulting educational package- a jingoistic curriculum of lies, errors and deceit-in all schools, in English, which displaced Indian languages, from the 19th century onwards, despite protests by native scholars, and new data endorsing the Vaidas. Both Mughals and British forced millions of Indians to convert to their religion. In 1947 India becalm independent, partitioned into three, two Islamic states and residual India, with a population of 35 million Muslims, which has increased five times to 180 million by 2011; Christians number 25 million. This book presents the corrected history of India, its discoveries in mathematics, language and sciences and the cosmic basis of its religions, which differ from those of the Middle East. A thousand years of proselytism of the weak and poor, along with corruption and disunity, and neglect of their welfare by post-colonial Indian Congress governments, have encouraged each religious group to agitate for a its own piece of India. Moderate Islam has been largely usurped by militant Wahhabism from Saudi Arabia via Pakistan, and Christianity by proselytes backed by rich foreign NGOs, aided by Indian atheists and Communists. They exploit India's weak secularism and laws protecting minorities, preach anti-Hinduism and continue to teach the debunked and divisive 19th century British myths. The author fears that these and other factors are weakening India from within. Indian governments have so far neglected to establish a protective and uniform civil code, the backbone of secularism. Meanwhile, the majority is trivialised, as if India's sustaining philosophies, the dharmic religions-Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism and their hope for world peace-do not exist. Reforms are needed to strengthen these religions, to keep them inclusive and respect all sectors of society, a task that falls to the new PM Narendra Modi. Minority agitation facilitates the fracturing of India and the apparent agenda of foreign interests to reconquer it, much as the British East India Company had done to bring India to its current moral and social disequilibrium.
