'This polylingual sequence explores the tension between various characters as set up by the Hungarian Uprising of 1956. Fierce passions run beneath the complex and broken text which is both local yet set elsewhere, in language itself. Time and distance do not diminish the tension. They simply leave behind fragments of what was once whole.' - George Szirtes
