Poetic Percy Python
Larry Sullivan
A poetry-spouting python awakens one morning to discover that poachers have abducted every animal in the jungle except for him. Despite the fact that all the animals hate him because he's a snake, he sets out to rescue them. Along the way, he sees a multitude of unbelievably wacky sights. When he does eventually rescue the other animals, they realize that snakes are creatures of the jungle just as they are and that they all must support one another. The rescued animals then insist that Percy give a speech to commemorate their newfound friendship and freedom, and Percy then gives a speech for the ages.
