Jonathan Aldridge
"The poetry you wrote in your youth is inevitably a bad thing, but it's also very formative and revealing." Relive the joy of your first love and the ennui of your first job. Go for a shower, a train ride and a run on the treadmill. Mull over freedom, fear, truth and doubt. And find out what really happens in the weeks after nuclear fallout. Nuclear brings together for the first time a wild variety of published and unpublished poetry written in Jonathan Aldridge's youth. This collection of 33 poems, written mostly during his university days, gives an insight into a young writer's most formative years. Jonathan Aldridge is also the author of the novel Banes of Boys & Girls.
