Mother Made Me

Mothers are supposed to be loving, nurturing, and protective, right? At least that's what little Sissy believed. Her little body and mind used these personalities to escape reality, a reality where memories got buried and time gaps were some of the unconscious coping mechanisms to deal with being tortured by the one person who was supposed to love and nurture you. This book is the story of her many struggles and ultimate triumph from being an abused and fractured child to a happy integrated adult. One who has risen above and beyond the depths of the pain into a life of freedom, internal peace, and happiness.
