Rice (Oryza sativa L., 2n= 24), belongs to the family Poaceae (Graminae). Rice is the most important food crop of the developing world and is the staple food of more than half of the world's population. In this book was aimed to study the effect of different levels of salinity (NaCl) (0,50,100 mM) stress on seed germination, seedling growth and various physiological parameters and changes in enzymatic activity in six rice genotypes (3 tolerant and 3 susceptible) namely CSR-36, CSR-43, Usar Dhan 3, Swarna Sub-1, IR-28, Pusa-44. This book is very helpful for research students and teachers for different level of salinity (NaCl) on rice work.
