Depth and Clarity

This book is a collection of beautiful black & white photos, artwork and iterative short form poetry inspired by the beauty of Haiku. The author captures moments in nature, nourishment, and being human. Here is an example poem from the book: The soaked cloudsHover over the oceanMist my face salt rain Haiku is a short poem that is usually 3 lines in a 5-7-5 syllable or a total of 17 syllables with seasonal or nature references. The author was inspired by such short form poetry and adheres to the 3 line rule with some flexibility on the syllable rule to express sentiment throughout the book. The author also created the artwork and photographs in the book. Some of the photos and poetry are intimately tied together and some are not. The reader may choose to interpret these per their own perspective.
