The Life of an Immigrant Student

Every immigrant has a story to tell ..... It follows the story of a boy who moves to the United States with his family and will have to overcome the obstacles of living in a new country. Furthermore, his life in Mexico will continue to follow him, as he will live on the border. Young student Jerry recounts what many remain silent about America's schools and how he almost failed to graduate from high school because of a counselor named Ms. Zafiro. On the Mexico side, Jerry will relate his bad school experiences and a family event that changed his life. Jerry will try to balance his personal and academic life, but he will have too many conflicts. Based on a true story.
