Sixth instalment of the found footage horror anthology franchise comprising five segments framed by the study of a shapeshifting being by a team of university scientists. The directors to contribute are David Bruckner, Scott Derrickson, Natasha Kermani, Mike P. Nelson and Gigi Saul Guerrero.

The featured stories include the brutal fate of seven friends enjoying a camping trip by a lake, the discovery of a shrine to the ancient Aztec god of the dead by a group of earthquake survivors, an experiment with virtual reality software that goes terribly wrong, a family who are celebrating their teenage daughter's initiation into their murderous tradition and a boy who dreams of murders before they happen.
