On Chesil Beach

Dominic Cooke directs this British drama adapted from Ian McEwan's novel. Set in the 1960s, the film follows young couple Florence (Saoirse Ronan) and Edward (Billy Howle) as they set off for Chesil Beach in Dorset for their honeymoon. However, things soon become complicated when the pair spend their first night together as husband and wife, with revelations about Florence's past casting doubts over the young lovers' future together.

The cast also includes Anne-Marie Duff and Emily Watson.
