On the way to India to collect ancient holy scrolls, the sacred priest, Tripitaka, and his loyal band of followers led by Monkey are implored by a mysterious princess to protect her people from a powerful demon warlord, King Gold Horn, and his tyrannical brother, King Silver Horn.
