Liverpool FC - Season Review 2016-2017

All the action from Liverpool's 2016/2017 league and cup campaigns. Having reached the finals of the Capital One Cup and the Europa League the previous season, before finishing eighth in the Premier League, expectations were high for Liverpool in Jürgen Klopp's first full season in charge. With new signings Joël Matip, Georginio Wijnaldum and Sadio Mané, the club were able to secure fourth place in the Premier League on the last day of the season and gain Champions League qualification for the first time in three years.
