In-the-now and at-the-ready, Matthew (aka Shakey Lo the Kreation Kid), johne, Necro, and Casper (aka Geoff Turney) bring tales of rebellious youth, altered states, and skate-illogical perpetrations to the unexpected, brilliant MENACE TO SOBRIETY. The trio's home-studio-born Atlantic Records debut is a sonic brunch buffet that deep-fries categorization in it's mind-melding of rock, hip hop, dancehall, pop, dub, and mariachi into a cohesive statement of musical vitality. Uniquely capturing the quintessential California experience, the album's baker's dozen songs incorporate all the state's natural beauty, it's pervasive alienation, dysfunction, myth propagation, and at-sea-youth into a virtual PET SOUNDS for the millennial moment.
