Monster Magnet

The Lowdown Monster Magnet

With the world apparently enthralled by the Grunge phenomenon emanating from Seattle in the early 90s, a group of mavericks from New Jersey were experimenting with psychedelic space rock, the fruits of which identified them as true originators. In the years since their extraordinary introduction to the rock community, Monster MAgnet's sound has continued to evolve across a string of classic records, a process that could have reached a conclusion when singer Dave Wyndorf was hospitalised after a drugs overdose in 2006. But with new material once more delighting their fans, this strange collective look set to take the globe by storm all over again. This 2CD set celebrates Monster Magnet's amazing career to date with a set of interviews with the band. Disc two features an audio biography of the group telling their complete story as it has never been heard before. Completed with deluxe packaging, booklets, poster and much more, this set is destined to become a top drawer collector's item.
