'Rattle That Lock' er David Gilmours fjerde studiealbum, og det første siden 'On An Island' fra 2006. Gilmour har skrevet sangene, og de fleste af teksterne er lavet af hans mangeårige samarbejdspartner Polly Samson. Albummet er produceret af David Gilmour selv sammen med Phil Manzanera fra Roxy Music.
