Clarinetist and vocalist **Bernard Stanley Bilk**, better known as **Acker Bilk**, was one of the greater post-war Jazz musicians. In 1962 **Bilk** was U. K.'s best-selling artist with his instrumental megahit *'Stranger On The Shore'*. In 2002 **Acker Bilk** appeared on **Van Morrison's** *' Down The Road'* and later followed by *'What's Wrong With This Picture'* and the 2012 album *'Born To Sing: No Plan B'.*
