Irrational Thinking EP
Scott Ferguson
Scott Ferguson with another deep 3 tracker inspired by Moodymann’s KDJ and Theo Parrish’s Sound Signature labels. Side A takes dance floors on a bouncy, 120 bpm, southbound ride filled with clattering high hats, punchy drums, somber vocal samples, and deep chords. The B side is a deep & soulful Ferguson/Belton collaboration that spans the entire length of the record. A compelling mixture of dark chords, deep sub-bass, and ensnaring vocals, this late-night banger will keep dancers flowing and ‘heads’ fascinated, right up until the very end
