When Dreams Are Crushed
Olga Altstatt
To resist drugs' temptations, we should create a strong control that would keep the lower and the upper parts of the brain in balance. Two high school students were trying to do just that. Hope was excellent in academics. Ann was great in sports and had good grades. She also was a "people's person". Hope had only several friends. Ann was a party girl that brought her to drug-addiction. She was saved by Hope, and they became the best friends. Later, both girls tried to help other students to stay away from drugs. Reverse peer pressure was in action. Paranomal phenomena also played some part in that.
